Development NY-Residential magazine is pleased to announce the recipients of the Top Women in Real Estate honorees for 2007. “These 20 women represent all facets of the real estate industry, from marketing to brokerage to finance to law and design. Women are now successful in every area of the New York real estate marketplace,” says Lori Sokol, Founder & Publisher. “We are pleased to honor the amazing inroads each of them have made.”
The 20 honorees include:

The June issue will profile each of the honorees, and an awards event will be held in New York City in the morning of Tuesday, June 19th (location tbd). The event will also serve host to a silent auction where dinner-for-four with some of the most powerful men in New York’s real estate industry will be up for bidding. Proceeds from this auction will benefit the non-profit organization SHARE (www.sharecancersupport.org), which provides support to survivors of breast and ovarian cancer.
Development NY-Residential magazine is a monthly publication that reports on the latest residential and retail developments in Manhattan and the surrounding boroughs. The only woman-owned New York real estate publication, the magazine hosts a variety of special events each year including the annual Green Building Awards (May) and Hottest Projects of the Year (Nov., 2007).
